Direct-drive sister of the SW-1510L. Same walking-foot, unison-feed configuration — built for leather, canvas, and multi-layer upholstery — with a 750W direct-drive motor and a horizontal large hook that runs nine strands of bonded nylon.

Who runs this

Same work as the SW-1510L/DA/VS. Pick this one when you want direct drive (slightly quieter, more torque at low speed, no belt to tension) instead of the belt-driven servo configuration. The N variant also adds vertical-stroke adjustment for fine-tuning presser-foot lift to material thickness.

Why direct drive over a belted servo

No belt to retension. Belted machines drift over time as the belt stretches. Direct drive doesn't. Maintenance interval extends; setup is one less variable.
Better low-speed torque. Direct drive holds full torque at fingertip-slow speeds. Critical when pivoting around a corner in three layers of leather and you want a stitch every quarter turn without losing the seam line.
