Long-arm variant of the SW-4400 platform. 25-inch arm length and 6.5-inch clearance height — for oversized work that won't fit under a standard bench machine.

Who runs this

Boat cover manufacturers. Industrial cover and tarp shops. Large bag and luggage producers. Anyone whose workpiece is so big that half of it dangles off a standard machine's small throat space.

Long-arm machines are a specialty buy. If your work fits under an 18-inch throat (SW-1510L, SW-4400N), you don't need this. If you're fighting the bulk of a 12-foot boat cover for half your shift, the L25 pays for itself.

Why a long arm matters

25 inches of throat. Twenty-five inches between the needle and the body of the machine. Means a folded boat cover or a stacked industrial cover section can sit flat on the bed without falling off either side.
6.5 inches of clearance. The vertical space between the throat plate and the arm. Lets the operator feed thick rolled-and-folded sections without jamming. Critical on 18 oz Sunbrella covers folded for hemming.
Same triple feed as the base 4400. Bottom feed dog, needle feed, walking foot. Same slip-resistance on heavy thread and multi-layer stacks — just on a longer-arm chassis.
