Who runs this

Denim factories building jeans — outseam, inseam, yoke, back-pocket attach. Workwear shops on heavy bib overalls and coveralls. Anywhere two parallel rows of stitching cross over thick existing seams and you need both needles to keep stitching cleanly through the bump.

Why split bar over fixed double needle

Independent needle operation. Each needle runs on its own bar. Hits a thick cross-seam, the affected needle disengages, the other keeps stitching. No needle break, no broken thread, no stop.
Built for the cross-seam problem. Fixed double-needle machines fight cross-seams; that's where 80% of denim machine breakage happens. Split bar is the engineering answer.

Application examples

Jean inseam

Two parallel rows running from crotch to ankle, crossing the waistband seam at the top. Split bar keeps stitching through the waistband bump where a fixed double would skip.

Coverall back yoke

Yoke seam attaching upper back to lower coverall body. Crosses the shoulder seam reinforcement. Split bar handles the layer change without breakage.

Pocket attach

Back-pocket double-row attachment on heavy denim. Pocket-corner bartacks are where lighter machines fail; this one runs through them.
